# How do I edit my profile?

> Edit your own Shapes, Inc. profile, bio, avatar, and banner.

In the app, tap **Settings** in the bottom nav, then tap **Edit profile**.

On web, open the sidebar menu and choose **Account**. That is the right web path for opening and editing your own profile.

On your profile page, tap the **pencil icon** next to the thing you want to edit. Use the pencil icons for your avatar, banner, name, and username. Use **Edit bio** to update your bio.
